The IT Cybersecurity Analyst is a pivotal force in building and maturing a comprehensive, enterprise-wide cybersecurity program. This role is dedicated to protecting VT's operations, intellectual property, customer data, and digital assets within an increasingly complex threat landscape. As the company embraces AI-driven tools, agentic AI systems, cloud/OT convergence, and Industry 4.0 technologies, this position focuses on proactive threat detection, modern security architecture, and aligning cybersecurity strategies with core business objectives.
You will serve as a bridge between technical security controls and business goals, ensuring that security enables rather than hinders operational excellence. The role demands a creative, visionary problem-solver who thrives on complexity and is committed to continuous improvement. You will collaborate closely with Systems, Network, Database, DevOps, and OT teams to embed security into the full technology stack, from traditional endpoints to cutting-edge AI/agentic applications.
Your work will span the spectrum from strategic planning to hands-on technical defense. You will proactively monitor networks, endpoints, cloud platforms, and OT/IoT systems using advanced XDR, SIEM, and behavioral analytics tools to detect and respond to threats in real time. A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to staying ahead of evolving risks, such as agentic AI compromise, AI-orchestrated attacks, and quantum-era threats, translating these complex challenges into actionable defenses.
You will lead incident response activities, investigating breaches, coordinating containment, and preparing executive-level reports. Beyond technical implementation, you will design and deliver engaging cybersecurity awareness training programs that cover current threats like AI-enhanced phishing and deepfakes, as well as emerging challenges regarding the secure use of generative AI. You will also own the evolution of incident response and business continuity plans, conducting regular tabletop exercises and red-team simulations to ensure organizational readiness.
Candidates selected for an interview will engage in a multi-stage process designed to assess both technical depth and cultural fit. The process typically includes:
