About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Registered Nurse for travel assignments. In this position, you will provide specialized perioperative nursing care, collaborating closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, perfusionists, and surgical teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes. As a travel nurse, you will function as a circulator and/or scrub nurse for complex CVOR cases, adapting quickly to new environments, workflows, and teams across different healthcare facilities.
Your day will involve preparing the operating room for scheduled and emergent procedures, monitoring patient status intraoperatively, and advocating for patient safety and comfort throughout the perioperative process. You will also have the opportunity to support and mentor less experienced staff, modeling professionalism and teamwork in high-acuity settings.

Requirements
- verifiedActive, unrestricted RN license in state of practice
- verifiedCurrent BLS certification
- verifiedCurrent ACLS certification
- verifiedMinimum of 1–2 years recent CVOR or high-acuity OR experience
- verifiedAbility to meet facility-specific credentialing, immunization, and background requirements
Nice to Have
Compact license where applicable, CNOR (Certified Perioperative Nurse) certification, specialty cardiovascular OR certification, and 3+ years of recent CVOR or high-acuity OR experience.
