About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative and Route Driver to join our team. In this position, you will be the face of our organization at every client stop, ensuring that confidential shredding containers and other sensitive items are transported safely and efficiently. This role is critical to maintaining our reputation for exceptional customer service while adhering to strict safety and compliance standards.
As a CSR/Route Driver, your day will involve operating a 26-foot box truck to deliver and pick up a variety of items, ranging from large and bulky to fragile and sensitive. You will manage assigned routes, communicate any necessary changes to clients or management, and ensure all paperwork is completed accurately to verify load status and customer satisfaction. Beyond driving, you will be responsible for the physical handling of goods, including loading, securing, and unloading items using hand-trucks or dollies as appropriate.
This role requires a high degree of reliability and professionalism. You will interact with clients of diverse backgrounds, resolving complaints and answering questions with tact and patience. Your ability to navigate efficiently, maintain accurate records of mileage and transactions, and adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations is essential to the success of our operations.
