As a Customer Service Representative, you will serve as the primary point of contact for both existing and prospective clients, as well as internal and external departments. This role is designed for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are eager to balance exceptional service with proactive sales opportunities. You will work independently to resolve a wide variety of customer issues while collaborating across departments to ensure long-term satisfaction and limit future occurrences.
Your day-to-day involves answering inquiries, addressing service needs, and uncovering opportunities to enhance current client relationships. Beyond resolution, you will act as an educator, helping customers understand the features and benefits of First Niagara products and services. You will also play a key role in client retention and sales growth by identifying needs and making qualified referrals to close deals.
We value a collaborative team environment where initiative and independence are encouraged. As a representative, you will serve as a peer partner to colleagues, offering guidance and assistance to less experienced team members. We seek individuals who are receptive to coaching, flexible with business needs (including evening and weekend shifts), and committed to maintaining predictable and reliable attendance.
Successful candidates will be invited to participate in a paid training program designed to prepare you for the role. We look for professionals who can represent the department and First Niagara with a courteous, conscientious, and business-like manner.
