This position performs imaging procedures and treatments in strict adherence to radiology practice standards, directly supporting the diagnosis and treatment of disease. The role is designed for professionals who can apply radiologic principles to select the most appropriate techniques and positioning for optimal patient outcomes.
You will be responsible for developing and implementing procedure and treatment plans using established hospital protocols and guidelines. A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to maintaining equipment, procedure rooms, and work areas in a neat and safe condition to ensure the well-being of both patients and staff. Additionally, you will actively participate in hospital and departmental Performance Improvement activities to ensure patient care consistently meets established standards.
Candidates must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with a Registry in Radiography (ARRT(R)). A state license is required as applicable. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory and must be obtained within 14 days of hire. While a Registry in CT (ARRT(CT)) is preferred, all new hires must demonstrate the ability to meet all CT competencies by the end of the orientation period, which requires a minimum of 6 months of experience in the specialty area.
