CBEM brings lasting, positive changes to the individuals with developmental disabilities we serve, some of whom experience mental illness. Our process begins with observations from which we design a comprehensive plan. It continues as we teach our clients and their circle of support how to obtain positive, sustainable outcomes.
As leaders in innovative crisis services, CBEM provides holistic support for individuals with developmental disabilities and co-occurring physical and mental health disorders. We prioritize getting to know our clients first, then designing plans to address both immediate and long-term needs. Our holistic approach supports both the individuals we serve and their circle of support to maintain stability, offering acute and chronic crisis support, training, skill development, family and caregiver support, and Regional Center integration.
As a Critical Intervention Specialist, you will be a leader in innovative crisis services within the East Los Angeles area and surrounding cities, including Pasadena, Monterey Park, Alhambra, Montebello, Whittier, Highland Park, and Commerce. This is an in-person, onsite role where you will provide support to individuals in crisis, managing preventative, acute, or chronic situations.
In this position, you will develop Stabilization Plans and Case Reviews while consulting with Psychiatrists, BCBAs, and Psychologists. You will participate in hotline rotations to address acute crisis calls, engage in clinical trainings, and facilitate interdisciplinary planning meetings. The role offers a positive learning environment with opportunities for growth, advancement, and field work with flexible schedules.
