Envision Physician Services invites a skilled and motivated physician leader to serve as the Site Medical Director for our growing Critical Care Intensivist program at Medical City Dallas. This role is designed to provide strategic leadership and clinical support within a dynamic, open, and collegial environment.
As the Medical Director, you will work closely with executive hospital leadership to foster a supportive culture. Your day-to-day involves co-managing with various specialties, providing clinical support for physicians on shift, and engaging in shadowing and coaching. You will play a key role in onboarding and mentoring new physicians, driving recruitment efforts, and contributing to strategic planning for the department.
The position offers ample protected time for both clinical duties and leadership initiatives. You will be part of a program highlighted by a robust ECMO initiative and a block scheduling model featuring 12-hour shifts (7a-7p, 7p-7a), designed to ensure a high quality of life while delivering exceptional care.
Medical City Children's Hospital, established in 1996, is a leading 254-bed pediatric healthcare facility in Dallas, Texas. Renowned for comprehensive, specialized care, the hospital features nearly 100 specialties, including dedicated CVICU and PICU units supported by a robust ECMO program. The facility includes a 37-bed pediatric med-surg unit, a pediatric emergency department with resuscitation and trauma bays, and subspecialties in pediatric surgery, cardiology, neurology, and more.
As the flagship children's hospital of the Medical City network, it shares a campus with Medical City Dallas, which includes a Level IV NICU and an adult hospital.
