As a member of the Conciliation Services team, you will perform professional work of considerable difficulty to support the Superior Court. This role is designed to facilitate conflict resolution and ensure the best interests of children and families are met. You will conduct court-ordered family evaluations, facilitate mediation in complex family law and juvenile dependency cases, and provide on-call services for rapid assessment of crises involving violence or safety threats.
Your day will involve interacting with a diverse range of stakeholders, including judges, attorneys, law enforcement, therapists, and family members. You will prepare detailed reports and written recommendations for the court, interview children, and provide parent education and coordination services. This position requires a high degree of confidentiality, professionalism, and the ability to navigate sensitive situations with empathy and sound judgment.
