About the Role

As a member of the Conciliation Services team, you will perform professional work of considerable difficulty to support the Superior Court. This role is designed to facilitate conflict resolution and ensure the best interests of children and families are met. You will conduct court-ordered family evaluations, facilitate mediation in complex family law and juvenile dependency cases, and provide on-call services for rapid assessment of crises involving violence or safety threats.

Your day will involve interacting with a diverse range of stakeholders, including judges, attorneys, law enforcement, therapists, and family members. You will prepare detailed reports and written recommendations for the court, interview children, and provide parent education and coordination services. This position requires a high degree of confidentiality, professionalism, and the ability to navigate sensitive situations with empathy and sound judgment.

Application Requirements:

  • All candidates must be eligible to work in the United States. Please note that Pinal County cannot currently offer visa sponsorship or STEM OPT.
  • Working for the Judicial Branch in this non-safety sensitive position requires a criminal background check, reference checks, and fingerprinting.
  • Arizona residents must have a valid Arizona Driver's License upon hire (newly established residents must obtain one within 30 days).
  • A Fingerprint Clearance Card is required within 90 days of hire.
