This position serves as a supervisory leader within the Correctional Officer series, specifically focused on managing food service operations for inmates and youth. The role is designed to ensure the safe, sanitary, and efficient preparation of meals while maintaining discipline and order within the kitchen environment. A critical component of this role is the instruction of staff on the proper use of commercial kitchen equipment and adherence to strict safety and sanitation standards. The supervisor is responsible for enforcing institutional policies regarding hygiene, security, and housekeeping, ensuring that all activities align with departmental regulations.
