The Office of Educational Outreach and Pathway Initiatives at the University of Colorado Anschutz is a mission-driven team dedicated to expanding access to education. We create vital pathways into STEM and healthcare careers, specifically focusing on recruiting and supporting students from underrepresented and underserved groups, including first-generation and lower-income populations.
As the Coordinator for High School Programming, you will be a key member of our team, directly impacting high school students by leading programs that support college readiness, career exploration, and successful transitions into higher education. This role is designed for someone passionate about education who enjoys working with students and is eager to grow their skills in program leadership.
You will oversee the CU Pre-health Scholars Program (CUPS) High School Track, managing summer and Saturday programming while building partnerships across campus and the community. Your day-to-day work involves empowering students to successfully enter and graduate from college, maintaining records on student participation and alumni progression, and assisting participants with college transitions and connections to undergraduate pathway programs. You will also manage undergraduate cohort leads and serve as a primary point of contact for students, faculty, and staff, solving problems and facilitating communication through various university platforms.
This hybrid role offers a balance of program leadership, student engagement, and operational experience. While the schedule is primarily hybrid (3 days per week on campus), please note that evening and/or weekend hours may be required to support workshops, events, and summer programs.
