This role is integral to our operations, ensuring the efficient flow of materials and products within our establishments. You will be the backbone of our logistics network, working closely with production schedules, customer orders, and shipping requisitions to determine exactly what needs to be moved, gathered, or distributed. Your day will involve conveying materials from receiving or production areas to storage or designated zones, sorting items according to specific sequences like size, type, or product code, and assembling customer orders for packing or shipping.
Beyond the physical movement of goods, you will play a key role in maintaining accuracy and safety. You will mark materials with identifying information, record amounts received or distributed, and weigh or count items to ensure conformance to company standards. This position requires a high level of dependability and the ability to apply common sense to carry out detailed instructions in a dynamic environment.
