Consultant – Accounting Advisory

About the Role

Our consultants work as part of a collaborative team alongside other CFGI professionals, Big 4 auditors, and client management. You will engage in all facets of engagements, from analyzing financial information and interviewing stakeholders to identifying key issues and developing strong client relationships. This role is designed for those who want to take ownership of their career, owning projects from start to finish while making a true business impact.

What You Will Do

In this role, you can expect to prepare operational due diligence for complex transactions, including acquisitions, divestitures, stock offerings, debt raises, and IPOs. You will lead accounting projects focused on carving out business units or subsidiaries and integrate with client internal staff as a subject matter expert for senior accounting tasks.

Additionally, you will prepare financial and regulatory information in accordance with SEC and regulatory requirements, such as 10-Ks, 10-Qs, S-1, and S-4 filings, while coordinating audits. You will also undertake research and documentation projects related to new ASC accounting standards and lead process improvement initiatives to implement necessary changes.
