About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and collaborative Construction Superintendent - Mechanical/Piping WPO (Work Package Owner) in Carolina, PR. This role is for a leader who thrives when people are in sync and construction projects are running smoothly. You will take the lead on daily scheduling and planning activities at the project site, ensuring the right materials, equipment, and people are in place to get the job done.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleLead daily scheduling and planning activities at the project site
- check_circleManage project schedules and scope package budgets for mechanical and piping systems
- check_circleLead client and construction meetings while facilitating constructability reviews
- check_circleCoordinate construction activities, walkdowns, and meetings with owners and designers
- check_circleParticipate in turnover processes including punch lists and walkdowns with contractors
- check_circleOversee safety, health, and well-being protocols including JHA revisions and permit sign-offs
- check_circleEnsure materials, equipment, and personnel are available to complete construction tasks
Requirements
- verifiedAssociate or bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management or equivalent years of experience
- verifiedAt least 5 years of construction site experience
- verifiedExperience with hygienic and non-hygienic piping
- verifiedWorking knowledge of pre-design, pre-construction, building systems, contract management, project delivery methods
- verifiedAbility to review Mechanical, Equipment & Piping scopes of work
- verifiedExperience managing project or scope package budgets
- verifiedExperience managing project schedules
- verifiedProficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, 3D Model, and Bluebeam
- verifiedOSHA 30 certification
Nice to Have
At least 5 years of construction site experience. Experience with hygienic and non-hygienic piping. Pharma experience. Experience collaborating in planning, design, construction, and commissioning. Excellent communication skills. Proficiency in software such as PowerPoint, Excel, Word, 3D Model, and Bluebeam.
