Key Responsibilities
- check_circleManage multiple conferences from conception through completion
- check_circleDevelop and manage conference budgets and timelines
- check_circleLiaise with clients to ascertain precise conference requirements
- check_circleCoordinate with vendors, venues, and suppliers
- check_circleSell sponsorship and exhibition space to potential partners
- check_circleConduct post-conference evaluation and produce reports for sponsors
- check_circleManage conference websites and social media platforms
- check_circleConfigure and manage online paper submission and registration processes
- check_circleProduce detailed RFPs for conferences including budgets and legal obligations
- check_circleOversee onsite conference setup and troubleshoot issues
Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree in event management, business administration, management, communications, or related field
- verifiedMinimum of two years of experience in full-scope event management or planning work.
- verifiedMust have, or have the ability to acquire, a passport.
- verifiedStrong communication, organization, and client-facing skills.
- verifiedStrong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- verifiedDemonstrated problem-solving ability and resourcefulness.
- verifiedFamiliarity with professional associations or nonprofit organizations.
