We are seeking a reliable Ready Mix Concrete Truck Driver to join our team in Wilmington, NC. In this position, you will operate a concrete mixer truck on public streets, highways, and construction sites to transport and deliver concrete materials. The role is designed for individuals who take pride in maintaining vehicle safety and ensuring high-quality delivery standards.
You will be responsible for performing pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, securing loads, and conducting quality control checks on concrete mix consistencies. The job involves significant physical activity, including climbing up and down mixer trucks, lifting heavy equipment, and washing trucks to keep them free of debris. You will work in various weather conditions and maintain contact with managers via radio or GPS to report on delivery status and any unusual situations.
We offer training for qualified applicants who may not yet have a year of commercial driving experience. Candidates must possess a valid CDL Class A or B North Carolina Driver's license, a good driving record, and a current medical examination certificate. We value dependability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic, as the role requires flexible hours including nights and weekends.
