We are currently seeking a COMSEC SSO to support the Deputy Chief of Staff (DCS, G8). The DCS G-8 serves as the principal military advisor to the Chief of Staff, Army, and the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Financial Management and Comptroller during the Programming phase of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process. This role involves coordinating with the Assistant Secretary of the Army, Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology, as well as Army Futures Command, to align program funding with the future force materiel modernization enterprise.
This position supports Army Communications Security (COMSEC) programs within the Mission Command portfolio. The successful candidate will provide analysis and recommendations on cryptographic modernization, key management, and secure communications integration. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing information papers, briefings, and SPAR/POM inputs that address system lifecycle, sustainment, and risk. You will coordinate with key stakeholders including ASA(ALT), NETCOM, CIO/G-6, and ARSTAF to ensure strict compliance with Army and DoD COMSEC policies.
