Become a vital part of a Portland, OR hospital team as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will accurately follow physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials when indicated, and operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images used for diagnosis. This role includes performing a variety of imaging procedures, including general radiography and fluoroscopy, as required by the department.
As a CT technologist in this role, you will contribute to accurate diagnostic imaging and patient safety. You will collaborate with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams to support timely diagnosis and treatment. Your technical skills and adherence to imaging protocols will directly affect patient outcomes and departmental efficiency.
This position operates on a Sunday through Wednesday shift pattern, featuring up to 12-hour day shifts. The department is staffed 24/7, and candidates may be expected to participate in departmental coverage as needed. The role includes an on-call rotation for weekend coverage as a back-up technologist.
