About the Role
The Driver, Trainee Component position is designed for individuals ready to take their CDL-A career further. This role serves as the foundational step in a developmental process where you will learn the essential functions of a Driver, including the accurate and timely distribution of products to various customer locations. As a Trainee, you will gain exposure to warehouse and other operational functions while riding and training with an experienced Driver Trainer. You will observe and practice commercial driving regulations, vehicle maneuvering, and customer service protocols, preparing you to eventually operate independently on local or regional routes.

- check_circleInspect tractor-trailer equipment for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection reports
- check_circleRide and train with Driver Trainer to learn commercial driving regulations and skills
- check_circleAssist Driver in unloading trailer and delivering product into customer premises
- check_circleMaintain driver logs according to DOT regulations documenting deliveries and exceptions
- check_circleOperate Driver Delivery Handheld to document receipts, temperatures, and exceptions
- check_circleProvide customer service including on-time delivery, product returns, and issuing credits
Requirements
