Companion Care (PT or FT)

About the Role

As a Companion Care provider with Sittercity, you play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for clients in their own homes. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about providing companionship and emotional support, mental, and physical well-being to those in need.

What You Will Do

In this role, you will serve as a trusted companion and caregiver. Your primary focus will be on building meaningful connections with clients while assisting them with daily living activities. This includes helping with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and personal care tasks that promote independence and comfort.

Beyond practical assistance, you will engage clients in stimulating activities and conversations to foster engaging conversations to support their mental and emotional health. You may also accompany clients to medical appointments, social outings, or other community events, ensuring they remain active and connected.

Monitoring and Communication

A key aspect of this role is maintaining open lines of communication. You will be responsible for monitoring clients' health and behavior, promptly reporting any changes or concerns to the appropriate authorities or family members to ensure safety and continuity of care.
