ZGF is seeking a communicator with a can-do attitude to lead communications efforts for our Seattle office. In this role, you will balance strategy, project management, and creative execution in equal parts, working closely with our firmwide Communications team to proactively elevate our projects and people.
As the Seattle Communications Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day workflows in Seattle, including project promotion cycles, press outreach, media lists, editorial calendars, awards, conferences, social media, website stories, and photoshoots. Additionally, this role will support our Vancouver B.C. office for select strategic communications activities.
You are a detail-oriented storyteller with the proven ability to multitask and work to tight deadlines. Your success will depend on your ability to prioritize simultaneous streams of work, thrive in ambiguity, think on your feet, and organize complex projects from start to finish. A keen interest in design and strong writing skills across social copy, website stories, and award narratives are essential.
To apply, please submit your cover letter, resume, and work samples online. We encourage you to apply even if you don't meet every single qualification; studies show that women and people from underrepresented groups are less likely to apply unless they check every box, yet your unique skills and experiences may be exactly what we need.
We know that great projects take more than a design team to become a reality. Whether you're a finance professional, project manager, or specialist in another field, your expertise helps create a healthier, more equitable built environment.
ZGF Architects is committed to fostering a diverse, inclusive, and welcoming workplace. As an equal opportunity employer, we celebrate the unique qualities and perspectives that each individual brings to our team. We encourage applicants of all backgrounds, experiences, and identities to apply. Regardless of age, race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law, we are excited to consider qualified candidates.
