At Sierra, we are creating a platform to help businesses build better, more human customer experiences with AI. We are primarily an in-person company based in San Francisco, with growing offices in Atlanta, New York, London, Paris, Madrid, Munich, Singapore, Japan, and Sydney.

Our co-founders, Bret Taylor and Clay Bavor, bring decades of experience from leading tech organizations. Bret, currently Board Chair of OpenAI, previously served as co-CEO of Salesforce and CTO of Facebook, and was one of Google's earliest product managers. Clay spent 18 years at Google, most recently leading Google Labs, and previously launched Google's AR/VR effort, Project Starline, and Google Lens.

About the Role

You will set the standard for great communications in a hyper-growth, founder-led company. This role is designed to help define Sierra's brand and raise external awareness, positioning us as a generational company, a category-defining product, the best AI partner for top companies, and a great place to work.

In this position, you will take overall responsibility for our press, social media (including podcasts), and blog, while managing our PR agency on a day-to-day basis. You will be a key part of the Marcomms team, pitching in as needed to navigate ambiguity and solve problems at speed. Success in this role requires an entrepreneurial spirit, clear communication skills, and the ability to build strong relationships internally and externally while handling sensitive topics with professionalism.
