Communications Dispatcher

About the Role

As a seasonal Communications Dispatcher, you will serve as a vital hub for managing park operations at Kings Dominion. The communications center is the nerve center where all park departments coordinate daily activities, process internal and external requests, and allocate resources efficiently. In this role, you will prioritize calls for service based on training and incident urgency, ensuring that Security, Park Operations, and Maintenance teams receive the support they need while remaining calm and focused under pressure.

You will be the first point of contact for routine and emergency calls, dispatching resources in a professional manner that adheres to park policy. Your responsibilities include monitoring surveillance equipment and weather software to make timely notifications, as well as contacting outside resources during emergencies or when directed by management.
