About the Team
This role supports the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) as a DirectClient engagement. The position is critical for maintaining clear, consistent, and effective communication channels across the project team and external stakeholders.
About the Role
The Communications Coordinator serves as the central hub for project-related communications, ensuring that all team members and department executives remain aligned on changes, new processes, and deployment schedules. You will manage the production and distribution of notifications for hot fixes and work closely with developers, information systems analysts, subject matter experts, and end users to facilitate smooth project delivery.
In this capacity, you will also drive organizational change management efforts. The role involves developing and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline team workflows. You will collaborate with stakeholders to prepare for requirements discovery sessions, conduct user story documentation, and assist in product backlog grooming, effectively bridging the gap between technical execution and strategic communication.
Work Environment
This is a fully onsite position located at 6230 E Stassney Ln, Austin, TX 78744. Candidates must be local to Texas and available to work onsite five days a week.
