The Communication Clerk serves as a vital support pillar within the Maricopa Unified School District's Communications team. Reporting directly to the Director of Communications, this role ensures the smooth execution of public relations, internal correspondence, and event coordination. The position acts as a key liaison for the Communications Coordinator, handling the day-to-day clerical and administrative tasks that keep the district's messaging clear, consistent, and on-brand.
In this capacity, you will be the first point of contact for many inquiries, managing telephone communications and serving as a public relations liaison. Your work directly supports the district's narrative by helping to maintain an editorial calendar that highlights student and alumni success stories, innovative teaching practices, and district initiatives. From gathering and editing photos and video footage to assisting with the planning of promotional materials and special events, this role brings the district's story to life.
