About the Role
Our client is expanding their commercial security footprint in Maryland and is seeking a Commercial Service Technician to join their growing team. This role is designed for a hands-on professional who thrives in a dynamic environment, managing a schedule of approximately four service tickets daily. You will receive your work schedule a week in advance, allowing for efficient planning as you troubleshoot and resolve issues ranging from quick one-hour fixes to complex multi-day projects.
You will be equipped with a company vehicle to facilitate your work across various locations. The core of this position involves troubleshooting and problem-solving a wide array of security equipment, including Alarm.com, DMP, DSC (832, 1832, Alexor Panel, Impassa, Neo, Qolsys Panel), Bosch Keyboards (B930), Honeywell, Concord, and Vista systems. While fire experience is a significant asset, it is not strictly required as training is provided for specific panels like Silent Knight and Potter AFC. Success in this role requires a deep understanding of how these systems are configured and operated, alongside proficiency with motion sensors, door locks, glass break detectors, smoke detectors, and carbon monoxide alarms.
