AutoZone's store teams serve as the frontline of "WOW!" customer service, dedicated to ensuring customers find the right parts and solutions for their automotive needs. We foster an energizing culture rooted in people and a commitment to delivering exceptional service. As a Delivery Driver, you become an integral part of this mission, putting your safe driving skills to work while enjoying career stability and endless growth opportunities in an essential industry.
This position is designed for those who want to combine safe driving with meaningful customer interaction. You will drive company-provided vehicles to deliver automotive parts to commercial customers, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. Beyond driving, you will engage with both commercial accounts and DIY shoppers, providing clear, professional automotive advice and offering installation services to enhance the shopping experience.
Your day involves maintaining efficient delivery operations, collecting returns and cores from nearby stores or vendors, and processing customer payments securely. You will also play a key role in fleet maintenance by staying updated on promotions and automotive products through AutoZone systems and promptly reporting any vehicle issues. No Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required, allowing you to focus on safe operations and customer relationships.
To join our team, applicants must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver's license. We look for individuals with basic automotive knowledge and the physical ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise. A flexible schedule, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime, is required. While a high school diploma or GED is preferred, and previous automotive retail experience is a plus, we value your potential to grow with us. A valid Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) endorsement is also a strong advantage for handling regulated materials safely.
AutoZone is an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive environment where all employees can thrive.
