CNC Machinist - Weekend Day Shift

About the Role

As a CNC Machinist, you will be the backbone of our manufacturing floor, responsible for producing high-precision machined parts. Reporting directly to the CNC Supervisor, your primary mission is to set up and operate computer numerical control (CNC) machines with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and safety. You will bridge the gap between digital programs and physical components, ensuring every part meets strict tolerances.

Day in the Life

Your workday begins by downloading programs and utilizing Manual Data Input (MDI) to prepare the machine. You will then set up the equipment, selecting the appropriate cutters and inserts while calculating the necessary feeds and speeds. Throughout the shift, you will continuously monitor the machining process, rechecking setups and making real-time adjustments to achieve optimal results.

Beyond the machine, you will maintain a clean and organized work area, manage tool calibration, and operate overhead cranes to move materials. This role requires full physical engagement, including the ability to lift 40 pounds and the use of all limbs, within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Schedule and Environment

This is a full-time position located in our manufacturing facility. The schedule runs Friday through Sunday, from 5:00 am to 5:15 pm. You will work alongside a dedicated team to keep production moving smoothly.
