Join our team at Providence Portland Medical Center as a Certified Nursing Assistant on the Medical Surgical Unit. This position represents a 0.9 FTE opening on the night shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), working three 12-hour shifts per week with rotating weekends.
In this role, you will provide direct patient care under the supervision and direction of a Registered Nurse (RN), utilizing the care plan to assist in providing comprehensive nursing care. You will contribute to a high-functioning team by assisting with admissions, discharges, and transfers, measuring and recording vital signs, output, and weights, and collecting specimens. You will also assist with client mobility and transfers using lifts and safe patient handling devices.
