This position is for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) within the Clinical Decision Unit at Providence Portland Medical Center. You will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), utilizing care plans to assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers. The role involves measuring vital signs, collecting specimens, performing capillary blood tests, and assisting with client mobility and transfers using safe patient handling devices.
This is a 0.6 FTE night shift opening (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), consisting of three 12-hour shifts per week with rotating weekends. The position offers opportunities for continuing education and professional development, including attendance at the annual CNA conference.
