The Clinical Quality Improvement Specialist II serves as a vital link in our Quality & Process Improvement department, providing evidence-based guidance and measurement to drive the performance and growth of safe, effective, efficient, and compassionate healthcare. This role is essential for fostering a culture of quality and ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
In this position, you will coordinate and participate in quality monitoring and improvement activities. You will conduct quality reviews of medical and hospital performance regarding patient outcomes and quality indicators, working closely with interdisciplinary performance improvement teams to achieve industry-leading success on publicly reported metrics. A key part of your day involves preparing reports and presentations to educate staff on quality outcome measures, publicly reported data, and regulatory requirements. You will also provide technical and clinical support to assist hospital and medical staff in maintaining continuous readiness for The Joint Commission (TJC) and other regulatory standards.
