As a Clinical Pharmacist II in Pain Management at Sinai Hospital, you will join a team that values innovation and outcomes, delivering life-saving care to our youngest and most vulnerable patients. This full-time role involves a weekend commitment and operates on a day shift from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
In this position, you will oversee the preparation and dispensing of medication, manage medication order computer entry, and monitor patient medication therapy. You will serve as a vital resource by providing medication information to patients, providers, nurses, and other allied health professionals. A key part of your day involves identifying, recommending, resolving, and preventing medication-related problems through direct interventions with providers. Additionally, you will supervise and direct pharmacy support personnel to ensure the timeliness of medication availability, working at the top of your license within a collaborative environment supported by unit-based practice councils and advanced clinical education.
