About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse Coordinator for our Open Heart department. In this role, you will be accountable to the Nursing Director for the clinical and operational functions of the unit. You will assume responsibility for managing the unit's activities in the absence of the Director, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care and the coordination of all unit functions during your designated shift.
You will join a committed, caring group of colleagues who work hard to support one another while providing excellent care in a collaborative manner. As a Clinical Nurse Coordinator, you will direct, monitor, and evaluate nursing care in accordance with established policies, serve as a resource person for staff, and model a commitment to the organization's vision and values. Requirements
- verifiedFlorida RN license or approved multistate RN license
- verifiedBachelors Degree, Registered Nurse Diploma, or Associate Degree
- verified2 Years acute care RN experience preferred
- verifiedBLS-AHA Provider card required within 30 days
- verifiedNIH Stroke Scale certification within 30 days
- verifiedACLS or ACLS Instructor within 6 months
- verifiedPALS or PALS Instructor within 6 months
- verifiedNeonate Resuscitation certification within 30 days
