The Clinical Laboratory Study Manager serves as a strategic partner to the Precision Medicine Strategy Lead, bridging the gap between clinical study teams, data management, and logistics groups. This role is critical for ensuring the delivery of high-quality samples and data that support both biomarker and non-biomarker evaluations, ultimately enabling the translation of scientific discoveries into effective medicines.
You will act as the central point of contact for the lifecycle of clinical samples, overseeing collection, chain of custody, usage per informed consent, and final destruction. Working closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors, you will manage central and specialty laboratories to ensure samples are collected strictly according to protocol. Your expertise will be vital in resolving sample-related queries and supporting Clinical Trial Management (CTM) and CRO partners to maintain data integrity throughout the trial.
Beyond operational oversight, you will drive project management aligned with core business strategies. This includes establishing and integrating processes for sample collection, processing, storage, and shipping, as well as managing the financial aspects of sample operations through vendor assessment, cost forecasting, and invoice review. You will also provide essential guidance and training to vendors, collaborators, and clinical sites on proper sample handling and compliance.
