The Division of Endocrinology, Metabolism and Diabetes, within the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Utah, is seeking a dynamic clinical endocrinologist to join our expanding clinical programs at the University of Utah and the Utah Diabetes and Endocrinology Center. Our division is distinguished by collaboration, excellence, leadership, and respect, fostering a culture of compassion, innovation, accountability, diversity, integrity, quality, and trust.
We have developed robust clinical programs addressing diabetes, obesity, and endocrine cancers, providing unique opportunities for leadership and research. Our active research portfolio offers extensive collaborative opportunities for both clinical and translational research. The division's unique geographical location supports a broad and diverse range of endocrinology referrals from a five-state region, covering active programs in pituitary disease, metabolic bone disease, thyroid, parathyroid, and adrenal disorders.
This position offers an academic faculty appointment commensurate with training and experience. The role includes opportunities for clinical research and graduate medical teaching. You will join a team where the diverse patient population from the surrounding region supports a wide array of clinical specialties and research avenues.
Salt Lake City, Utah's capital and gateway to the state's renowned landscapes, sits at an elevation of 4,330 feet above sea level.
