Sterling Medical is seeking a Clinical Child Psychologist to support US Military families in the Bahrain area as a full-time contractor. This role is dedicated to providing essential mental health services, including psychological assessments, therapy, and clinical supervision, to ensure the well-being of military-connected children and their families.
We strongly encourage military spouses and dependents to apply for this position. The role offers excellent compensation and a 40-hour work week, combining local and remote service delivery, including telehealth options.
In this position, you will provide a full range of psychological services tailored to pediatric clients, with a specific focus on the 0-3 age group. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include conducting intake assessments, administering diagnostic evaluations such as the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS), and performing intellectual, personality, and neuropsychological screenings.
You will deliver individual and group psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and behavioral management consultation. The role also involves facilitating family therapy, offering psychoeducation and skills training, and providing clinical supervision to psychological associates. Whether working on-site or remotely, you will act as a key resource for assessing psychological states and treating disorders to effect improved adjustments for your patients.
