Key Responsibilities
- check_circleRoom patients and obtain vitals, medical history, and chief complaints
- check_circleAssist Providers with clinical procedures including suture removal and bandaging
- check_circleCreate and process PT orders, work status forms, and clinical documentation
- check_circleE-scribe medications and assist with patient instructions
- check_circleDocument all patient interactions accurately in the EMR
- check_circleMonitor and ensure timely completion of Provider documentation
- check_circleSupport clinic operations and provide coverage across departments as needed
- check_circleReturn patient calls, process faxes, and complete FMLA paperwork
Requirements
- verifiedHigh School Diploma or equivalent
- verifiedMedical Assistant (CMA/RMA) preferred
- verifiedAthletic Trainer (ATC) preferred
- verifiedOrthopedic Technician background
- verifiedExperience in a clinical setting preferred
- verifiedStrong understanding of EMR systems
Nice to Have
Experience in a clinical setting; Medical Assistant certification (CMA/RMA); Athletic Trainer certification (ATC); Orthopedic Technician background; Direct patient care experience in orthopedics, sports medicine, or related fields.
