About the Role
We are seeking a Clinical Analytics Platform Developer to support and configure a global life sciences client's clinical analytics ecosystem. This role sits at the intersection of data engineering and regulatory compliance, ensuring that critical data platforms remain inspection-ready and operationally robust.
You will serve as the technical owner for three key platforms: the Sycamore Clinical Data Warehouse (CDW), Lokavant Spectrum, and the Aetion Evidence Platform. Your work will directly enable scalable analytics for Clinical Data Management, Biostatistics, Real-World Evidence, and Clinical Operations teams. The position requires a unique blend of hands-on data warehouse development, platform configuration, and rigorous validation activities to maintain data integrity across complex clinical trials.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleLead user access administration, vendor coordination, and platform monitoring for Sycamore CDW
- check_circleExecute metadata updates and controlled change execution under formal change management procedures
- check_circlePerform data model impact analysis for new study onboarding and downstream consumer requirements
- check_circleDesign and redesign reconciliation logic across clinical data sources to ensure data integrity
- check_circleBuild and support inspection analytics including listings, metrics, KPIs, and visualizations for regulatory audits
- check_circleProvide validation support including test script authoring, execution, and documentation
- check_circleManage user access administration and vendor coordination for Lokavant Spectrum platform
- check_circleProvide configuration support and execute validation testing activities for Aetion Evidence Platform
- check_circleAuthor and maintain configuration standards, work instructions, and data lineage documentation
- check_circleTroubleshoot data pipeline failures and perform root cause analysis to implement durable fixes
- check_circleContribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to platform operations and data quality
- check_circleOwn the intake mailbox for Aetion Evidence Platform triaging requests, routing, and tracking SLAs
Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree required
- verified5+ years of experience supporting clinical analytics platforms in a regulated life sciences environment
- verifiedStrong SQL skills
- verifiedExperience with ETL/ELT design, performance tuning, and complex reconciliation logic
- verifiedHands-on experience building inspection-ready listings and analytics for regulatory submissions and audits
- verifiedDemonstrated experience executing computer system validation activities
- verifiedFamiliarity with clinical data standards (CDISC SDTM, ADaM)
- verifiedExperience executing controlled changes under formal change management and validation processes
- verifiedStrong understanding of GxP and 21 CFR Part 11 requirements
- verifiedAbility to work fully remote and provide consistent coverage during US Eastern Standard Time (EST) business hours
Nice to Have
Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Life Sciences, or a related field. Configuration experience with Aetion Evidence Platform and/or Lokavant Spectrum. Experience integrating clinical data with BI/visualization tools (e.g., Spotfire, Tableau, Power BI). Cloud data platform experience (AWS, Azure, Snowflake).
