Join our team in Aiea, HI, as a vital member of our Laboratory Operations group. In this role, you will serve as a key liaison between our laboratory and our clients, ensuring the integrity and timeliness of clinical data. You will assist in resolving client issues by performing thorough investigations, evaluating findings, and responding efficiently. A significant part of your day involves understanding specimen requirements to provide accurate results, recognizing critical values based on established guidelines, and promptly notifying clients of STATs and critical findings.
You will also collaborate with technical and managerial staff to resolve discrepancies in reports, track and monitor send-out tests, and assist the send-out group with prior authorizations. This position requires a proactive approach to problem resolution, forwarding complex issues to the appropriate quality assurance individuals, such as supervisors, managers, or pathologists. To maintain professional and technical knowledge, you will engage with professional publications and attend continuing education seminars.
