About the Role

The Stock Clerk serves as a vital link in the supply chain, ensuring the proper handling, storage, and delivery of all supplies across the property. Whether items are sourced from the warehouse or issued directly, this role is dedicated to minimizing potential loss while maintaining operational efficiency. The position requires a practical understanding of warehouse operations and a working knowledge of Stratton Warren functions, specifically regarding the creation, completion, and updating of warehouse requisitions.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

In this role, you will manage the flow of goods from the dock to their final destinations, including warehouses, refrigerators, freezers, and food & beverage outlets. Your daily routine involves checking in products, organizing them in proper locations, and strictly adhering to First-In, First-Out (FIFO) rotation principles. You will be responsible for pulling items to fulfill departmental requisitions and delivering orders, including freight, to the appropriate teams.

Beyond logistics, the Stock Clerk maintains detailed records of stock levels and assists management with periodic inventory processes. The role also involves specific care for the liquor tree, BIB, and Keg areas, ensuring these are refilled as directed. A significant portion of the day is dedicated to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards in storerooms, coolers, freezers, the receiving dock, and connecting corridors. Effective communication and adherence to departmental filing processes for document retention are essential to the success of the position.
