About the Role
As a Class A CDL Owner Operator for Flatbed work, you will be the driving force behind efficient freight movement across diverse routes. This role offers independence and flexibility, allowing you to maximize your earning potential while maintaining high safety standards. You will operate tractor-trailers with precision, hauling flatbed loads that require skillful handling and strategic route planning.
The position focuses on local delivery for coils and freight, requiring drivers to be located within 2.5 miles of the shipper for quick and reliable access. Efficient and motivated drivers have the opportunity to complete 5-7 loads per day in a 24-hour operation environment. You will enjoy home nightly and have access to secure yard parking, fuel cards, and fuel discounts.
Hiring Process
To join our network, candidates must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record. A minimum of 6 months of recent DOT-regulated driving experience within the past year is required. Additionally, proficiency in operating manual transmission trucks and specific experience hauling flatbed loads are essential. Coil certification is a mandatory requirement for this role.
