About the Role
Melton Truck Lines is seeking Class A CDL drivers to join our team of Over-the-Road (OTR) flatbed drivers. With over 72 years of industry experience, we understand what matters most to drivers. Whether you are an experienced driver, a recent CDL graduate, or a transitioning military veteran, we have a place for you in our legacy.
The Experience
As a Solo Company Driver, you will run nationwide on an OTR schedule, typically being out for a minimum of 2–3 weeks at a time. You will operate late-model equipment that is meticulously maintained, allowing you to focus on the road ahead without worrying about breakdowns. Our dedicated support team is available 24/7 to ensure you have what you need whenever you need it.
We provide comprehensive flatbed training to help you gain the skills and confidence needed for securement. Drivers can expect an average of 2,200–2,500 miles per week. The role includes flexible home time options, allowing you to bank unlimited days to fit your schedule. Additionally, we offer a Road Warrior Program where you can choose an extra day of home time or extra cash, along with industry-leading tarp pay and competitive layover and detention pay.
