About the Role
Melton Truck Lines is seeking Class A CDL drivers to join our team of Over-the-Road (OTR) flatbed drivers. With over 72 years of industry experience, we understand what matters most to drivers. Our mission is to provide a driver-focused experience built around your success, whether you are an experienced veteran, a recent CDL graduate, or transitioning from the military.
As a Solo Company Driver, you will run nationwide on an OTR schedule, typically spending a minimum of 2–3 weeks on the road at a time. You will operate late-model, meticulously maintained trucks, allowing you to focus on the road ahead without worrying about mechanical issues. The role involves hauling flatbed loads, where you will utilize our comprehensive hands-on securement training to gain the skills and confidence needed for the job. You can expect an average of 2,200 to 2,500 miles per week.
