You will operate a CDL A tractor trailer to transport over-the-road refrigerated freight, ensuring product quality is maintained through careful temperature monitoring. This role involves driving long distances across regional and national lanes in all weather and terrain conditions. You will be responsible for proper freight securement, accurate documentation including logs and bills of lading, and maintaining open communication with dispatch and customers. The position requires physical capability to bend, squat, twist, and inspect trailer components, alongside a strong understanding of temperature-controlled freight and FMCSA regulations.
We believe in a partnership where longevity is rewarded. Our structure is designed so that the longer you work with us, the more you earn, with a starting rate of 62 CPM on practical miles. We provide a $1,400 weekly guarantee, but our drivers easily out-earn this figure. Beyond the base pay, we offer significant additional compensation including $750 quarterly bonuses for safety and performance, $80/day per diem, extended delivery and layover pay, and immediate detention pay of $25/hour on all loads. We also provide paid orientation time and 8 paid holidays, including your birthday.
We provide the equipment drivers want, featuring 2023 and newer Freightliners and Kenworths equipped with APUs, inverters, and refrigerators. Every truck includes free SiriusXM. We arrange and pay for your travel to orientation. To join our team, you must have at least 12 months of CDL-A experience, be at least 21 years of age, and pass a FMCSA DOT pre-employment drug screen. We look for candidates with no major MVR or CSA violations in the last 3 years and no DUI/DWI convictions in the past 5 years. We value strong paperwork accuracy, time management, and the ability to use technology like ELDs and mobile apps effectively.
