Bison USA is dedicated to helping new drivers build a strong future in the trucking industry, starting from day one. This role is specifically designed for CDL-A recent graduates ready to launch their Over-The-Road (OTR) careers. Whether you have just graduated from a CDL school within the last 90 days or are looking to transition into a long-haul career, Bison provides the support, equipment, and consistent work needed to succeed.
As a driver with Bison, you will operate late-model van and reefer trailers, handling 98% no-touch freight. The position offers a clear path from paid training to your first solo load, ensuring you are never alone on the road. You will be assigned your own truck after completing the training program, allowing you to hit the road with confidence and independence.
The journey begins with a comprehensive onboarding process designed to set you up for success. New drivers can expect three days of orientation followed by five days of classroom and terminal training. This is followed by four weeks of in-cab paid training with an experienced mentor driver. For those who demonstrate readiness, a fast-track option allows for a two-week in-cab training period based on evaluation. Upon completion, you will receive your own truck and be ready to head home after training.
At Bison USA, drivers are the heart of the operation. The company fosters a culture where drivers matter, offering a supportive environment that values a positive attitude and strong work ethic. Drivers enjoy the flexibility of bringing a pet or rider along, ensuring you can share the road with those you love. The company is committed to your long-term growth, offering career advancement opportunities, tuition reimbursement up to $6,000, and a full benefits package including 401(k), health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance.
To join the Bison Herd, candidates must hold a valid Class A CDL, be at least 21 years old, and have graduated from a CDL school within the last 90 days. All applicants must pass DOT screening. If you are ready to put your hard work to use, apply today to start your career with a company that grows with you.
