About the Role
Join Team Cowan as a Dedicated Local Truck Driver and experience a career designed to get you home every day. This role offers predictable pay and schedules, ensuring a better work-life balance. You will operate on dedicated freight with familiar lanes across MD, PA, DE, NJ, NY, and VA, handling 100% no-touch freight in assigned tractors. While the core route is local, NYC deliveries (5 boroughs) are optional, offering an additional premium for those interested.
You will never be alone on the road; our award-winning support team provides 24/7 assistance. We are dedicated to providing state-of-the-art equipment and job stability through essential freight. The position includes paid orientation with a single-room hotel stay and opportunities to earn more by working weekends or a sixth day.
Hiring Process
To apply for this position in Pennsylvania, eligible candidates must submit an application confirming they hold a Class A CDL with nine months of verifiable experience in the last three years. Specific experience in Dry Van, Reefer, Container, Flatbed, and/or Tanker operations is required. Selected candidates must be able to start by June 12th, 2026, to qualify for the sign-on bonus incentives.
