Class A CDL Truck Driver — Ashland, NE at U.S. Xpress

About the Role

Join our dedicated truck driving team to deliver freight with a focus on consistency and reliability. As a CDL-A Dedicated Truck Driver, you will operate newer equipment (averaging 18 months old) on a home-weekly schedule. This role offers 100% touch freight, ensuring you handle the cargo from start to finish, with additional compensation for offers, stops, and backhauls.

Drivers can expect an average weekly pay of $1,900+, with top earners averaging $2,200 per week. The position includes a $2,000 sign-on bonus and paid orientation upon completion and hiring. We provide convenient home-base terminals to support your work-life balance.

Hiring Process

Interested candidates must possess a valid Class A CDL and be at least 21 years old with a minimum of 3 months of verifiable experience. The application process includes a review of your driving record, which must show no more than one preventable accident in the last two years and no major preventable accidents in the last five years. Additionally, candidates must have no more than two moving violations in the last two years and no DUI/DWI offenses within the past 5 years (or 10 years if the offense occurred while holding a CDL).

Successful applicants must pass a DOT physical and drug test. Please note that drivers with a history of drug-related convictions within the past 5 years (or 10 years with a CDL) or positive/refused tests in the past 10 years are not eligible. SAP drivers are also ineligible for hire. For specific details regarding bonus qualifications and trip pay calculations (ranging from $0.70 to $0.80 cpm), please contact a recruiter.
