Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Extra Board Truck Driver in Zeeland, MI, offering a driving career you can feel good about. This position is designed for drivers who value stability, with a local home-daily schedule that allows you to return home every night. As a Company Driver, you are the Captain; you make safety decisions, and your job is protected. Trucks are 36 months or newer and include 24/7 Roadside Maintenance. Additionally, company drivers fuel up the trucks at over 800 maintenance facilities nationwide.

The Day-to-Day
You will drive a Day Cab & 26' Box Truck with a Dry Van (48' or 53') trailer, hauling heavy touch freight consisting of auto parts. The route is local within Michigan. Your schedule runs Monday through Friday with some Saturdays, starting at 6:00 AM for 45 or more hours per week. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable federal and state laws, detecting and eliminating safety hazards, and maintaining accurate records and logs. Depending on customer requirements, you may also assist in the loading and unloading of freight.
