Civil Engineer - Land Development

About the Role

LaBella Associates is seeking an entry-level Engineer to join our Civil Division in our Rochester, NY office. This role is designed for recent graduates or early-career professionals eager to apply their engineering knowledge to a variety of projects with a focus on soil-based design.

In this position, you will support the team in storm water and wastewater infiltration testing, pavement evaluation, and the development of detailed construction drawings for complex site features like steep slopes and retaining walls. The role involves a blend of office-based technical analysis and field oversight, including subsurface investigations and construction phase inspections. You will prepare interpretive engineering reports and collaborate efficiently with teammates across different disciplines and locations.

We offer a flexible schedule to accommodate project site requirements and periodic out-of-town work. Success in this role requires a self-motivated individual who can effectively receive guidance while completing tasks independently and possesses a valid driver's license to travel to various work sites.
