About the Role
We are seeking a Civil Engineer (EI/EIT or PE) to join our Water/Wastewater Business Sector in our Coeur d'Alene, Idaho office. This role is designed for recent graduates or students graduating in 2026 who are eager to work on impactful infrastructure projects. You will help design water and wastewater systems that protect public health and support growing communities across the region.
This position offers a unique blend of technical work and community engagement. You will participate in all phases of project planning, design, and construction management, moving projects from concept to reality. A key part of your day will involve attending public meetings, forums, and open houses to support senior project managers and answer questions from the public. You will collaborate with engineers, planners, and public agencies to solve complex challenges using tools like Bluebeam, MS Office, WaterCAD, and InfoSWMM.
The Coeur d'Alene location provides an exceptional quality of life, with easy access to lakes, trails, skiing, and a vibrant downtown community. This role is ideal for those seeking a clear path from EIT to PE licensure, supported by structured mentorship from licensed Professional Engineers and exposure to real-world projects.
