About the Role

We are seeking a CICS and MQ Systems Programmer/Admin to join a client team in Plano, TX or Columbus, OH. This 12+ month contract role focuses on leveraging deep mainframe expertise to integrate distributed technologies and AI tools into existing systems. The position is designed for professionals who thrive in cross-functional environments, bridging the gap between legacy mainframe architectures and modern development philosophies.

In this role, you will be the technical anchor for system optimization, data integrity, and security initiatives. Your day-to-day involves monitoring application performance, troubleshooting complex issues to ensure uninterrupted service, and collaborating with stakeholders to communicate project progress and solutions. You will play a key part in ensuring compliance with industry standards while driving efficiency through the application of agile and lean principles.
